Conversations with Jason explores the jazz piano and guitar duo format made famous by Bill Evans & Jim Hall, as well later Benny Green & Russell Malone and many others!

Selections on the record include the first spacegrass composition by Tony Rice entitled "Swing 51", jazz standards, and more!

The duo features Jason Keiser (guitar) at the time a current student at East Tennessee State University in the Bluegrass & Jazz Studies programs. It also features professional jazz pianist, University of TN alumnus, and former ETSU Jazz Studies Professor Jason Day (piano). Jason is a former student of Donald Brown; a prolific pianist and alumni of Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers.
